Equipped with the Hyundai HE6.7 engine — featuring a high-pressure common rail fuel system for efficient combustion and responsive power delivery — and a standard 3.3 m³ bucket, it delivers the power and stability required for repeated loading and carrying cycles in tough conditions. Four-wheel drive with an oscillating rear axle keeps traction consistent across the uneven ground typical of quarry floors and active construction sites.

Precision Performance and Operating Modes

A load-sensing hydraulic system with a variable displacement piston pump supplies flow only when required, supporting smooth, fuel-efficient cycles while minimising wasted power. The fully automatic transmission offers four forward and three reverse speeds. Four selectable shift modes — Manual, Light, Normal, or Heavy — adjust shift timing behaviour to match varying job conditions.

Three engine power modes allow full output for heavy digging or economy settings for lighter tasks, helping balance performance with fuel consumption. Pilot-operated joystick controls, an FNR switch on the lever, and a kick-down button enable quick, comfortable direction and speed changes, reducing operator effort during repetitive cycles. A total hydraulic cycle time of 10.1 seconds supports a consistent loading rhythm when loading trucks or building stockpiles.

Reliability, Uptime, and Easy Maintenance

  • The cooling system resists thermal shock, impulse, and vibration, while a remote-mounted fan reverses periodically to prevent debris accumulating on the coolers, helping prevent overheating, reduce wear, and lower fuel use and noise.
  • Hi-MATE remote management system provides access to vital service and diagnostic information promoting preventative maintenance and reducing machine downtime. Owners are also able to pinpoint machine location using digital mapping and set machine work boundaries to better manage machine movements.
  • Ground-level access to key service points and sight gauges allows fast fluid checks, reducing daily inspection time. Fuel and oil filters, grease points, fuses, and electronic components are easily accessible from ground level, with wide-opening panels that simplify servicing and reduce delays.

Operator Comfort and Everyday Control

The redesigned cab provides a larger space with rounded front glass and wider door glass for clear sightlines, improving precision and jobsite awareness. Full automatic climate control with eleven vents maintains consistent temperature, while roller sunshades on the front and rear windows and defroster vents with an electric pre-heater manage glare and condensation.

The 5.7-inch colour monitor displays real-time machine status, allows in-cab adjustment of boom kick-out and bucket positioner, and shows the integrated load-weighing system to help prevent overloading and improve accuracy. A rear-view camera, tilting telescopic steering column, and adjustable wrist rest reduce fatigue, helping operators stay focused and productive throughout long shifts.
