The R1250-9 is built to withstand the constant vibration and high-stress cycles typical of mining applications. Its X-leg centre frame, integrally welded with reinforced box-section track frames, absorbs lateral shocks on uneven quarry floors, helping prevent frame cracking.

The cabin structure features stronger yet slimmer tubing for enhanced safety and improved visibility. The upper and lower frames are constructed from low-stress, high-strength steel and are integrally welded for maximum durability.

Durable full track rail guards keep the track links securely in place, while track adjustment is simplified with standard grease-cylinder track adjusters and shock-absorbing springs. The strengthened undercarriage is designed to deliver reliable production in demanding quarry and mining environments.

The R1250-9 features an upgraded hydraulic system that delivers precise, powerful performance. This allows operators to perform complex tasks with greater accuracy and less effort while maintaining peak productivity in demanding applications.

  • Auto Boom-Swing Priority: This intelligent function continuously monitors and optimizes hydraulic flow between boom and swing motions, ensuring smooth, balanced operation. It maximizes efficiency and productivity, particularly during simultaneous boom lifting and swing movements.
  • Improved Hydraulic System: Upgraded hydraulic valves, piston pumps, and fine-touch pilot controls enhance operator control and overall machine efficiency. Features such as arm-in and boom-down flow regeneration recover hydraulic energy that would otherwise be lost, improving cycle speeds while reducing pump load. The result is lower fuel consumption, reduced operating costs, and smoother, more responsive machine operation.

Operator Comfort, Visibility and Safety

Large glass panels and a single-piece right-side window provide excellent visibility over the tracks, bucket and surrounding work area. This clear sightline allows operators to position the machine accurately during loading, trenching and bench excavation.
