The Hyundai HX300SL Smart Excavator is engineered for high-capacity production, with a 30,200 kg operating weight that delivers the stability required for large-scale bulk earthmoving and infrastructure development. Powered by a robust Hyundai HM8.3 engine, the machine produces a dependable 183 kW (245 HP) of net power, maintaining fast cycle speeds even when operating with bucket capacities up to 1.5 m³.

This makes it ideally suited to demanding highway construction, mining support, and deep trenching applications where strong breakout forces are essential to penetrate compacted or fractured rock.

The HX series is built to withstand the rigorous demands of Southern African worksites, with reinforced upper and lower frame structures designed to absorb the external shocks of heavy-duty loading.

A three-layer stacked cooling module enhances heat dissipation, maintaining stable operating temperatures during extended shifts in high ambient conditions. High-pressure hoses with improved heat resistance, together with wear-resistant cover plates on the arm end, provide added protection against premature abrasion and hydraulic failure.

Mechanical Precision with Smart Efficiency

  • Intelligent Power Control (IPC): This system optimizes pump flow based on the work environment. By managing oil delivery in excavation modes, the HX Series achieves significant efficiency gains over previous models, including better fuel efficiency during leveling operations and improved truck loading performance.
  • Variable Power Management: Operators can toggle between three power modes—Power (P), Standard (S), and Economy (E)—to match the machine’s performance to specific load requirements, ensuring maximum efficiency across varied tasks.
  • Optional Attachment Flow Control (AFC): This feature allows independent control of two pumps to optimize flow for up to 10 breaker types and 10 crusher types, ensuring specialized attachments operate with precision and high performance.
  • Eco Gauge Monitoring: A real-time digital display monitors engine torque and fuel efficiency, providing operators with actionable data to help reduce daily operating costs.

Operator-Focused Comfort and Safety

  • Advanced Cabin Suspension: The cab is mounted on a specialized coil spring and damper system that significantly reduces vibration and noise levels, protecting the operator from fatigue during long, multi-shift operations.
  • Intelligent Wide Cluster: Centralized switches on the interactive 8-inch touchscreen display allow the operator to manage climate control, monitor machine diagnostics, check the urea level, and view the outside temperature.
  • Front-Side Air Conditioning System: The ventilation system is designed to direct both warm and cool airflow to the operator’s feet, body, and head, keeping the operator comfortable and productive.
